Poster dispay impressive
After lunch, delegates from the UNESCO Cities of Design were having their time at the OCT Art & Design Gallery yesterday, to see the poster competition exhibition “CODE.”
Eriko Esaka, representative from Nagoya, recognized the winning posters from her city as soon as she stepped into the gallery. “Shachihoko (a fabulous dolphin like fish) is a symbol of Nagoya, that's why you can often see how this element is interpreted in the artworks of our city,” she introduced to the others.
After the visit, delegates were showing their interest on the design products sold in the gallery shop. One of the delegates showed what she had in her hands. “I bought some diary books and red envelopes as souvenirs. I like the design which is very Chinese, and of course is creative as well.”
