  联合国教科文组织项目官员李道妍：

  深圳要大力发挥年轻人的力量

  It is the first time when Doyun Lee visit Shenzhen. But as a Program Officer of Divison of Cultrual Expressions and Creative Industries, Shenzhen is not entirely new to her. "I was helping Shenzhen with the application to the UNESCO Cretive Cities Network, so I have been quite familiar with Shenzhen, well, from paper work only."

  "From what I was doing in the past, I got to know that Shenzhen is a very young and dynamic city. Now I am here to see the city, I can really feel the young spirit and vibrancy of it," she added. Having been in touch with the organizers of this conference for the past few months, Lee was also impressed by their professionalism and how the conference is actually run.

  Lee expressed as well her expectation to see the cooperation between Shenzhen and the other design cities. "Even cross-category cooperation is possible.

  In Lee's opinion, the young talents are essential to Shenzhen's design indutry as well as the whole city. "Shenzhen should try to involve this strong community of young artists and designers as much as they can. It is doing a good job now but I would like to see it putting more efferots into the young talents.

  这是李道妍第一次来深圳。但作为联合国教科文组织的项目官员，深圳对她来说并不陌生。“我曾经帮助深圳建立加入联合国创意城市网络的申请，所以可以说我对深圳很熟悉，当然，那只是在文字资料上。”

  “从我过往的工作中，我了解到深圳是个非常年轻，多元化的城市。现在我来到这里，能够亲眼见证到深圳这座城市散发出来的年轻活力气息。”李道妍补充道。在过去的几个月里，她持续地与这次大会的组织者密切联系，他们的专业给李道妍留下非常深刻的印象，尤其看到这次大会真正运作起来的时候，她尤为称赞。

  李道妍对记者表示，她希望看到越来越多深圳与其他设计之都间的合作。

  在李道妍的眼里，年轻人就是深圳设计产业与整座城市的中坚力量。“深圳应该尽可能地发挥这个年轻人社群的强势力量。深圳当然已经做得很好了，我希望能够看到在这方面更大的努力。”
